Let 5√3 be a rational number. a/b=5√3 a/5b=√3 a/5b is a rational number.So,√3 is also a rational number. But the fact is that √3 is a irrational number. 5√3 be an irrational number.

prove that 5√3 is irrational no Let 5√3 is rational number. 'a' and 'b' are two co-prime factor. a/b = 5√3 a/5b=√3 : Here a/5b are a rational Number. : √3 is also a rational Number. :: but it is contradiction because we know that √3 is irrational number. : :5√3 is a irrational number.
