Mendeleevs peroidic law: The properties of elements are the periodic function of their atomic mass He arranged them according to thier atomic mass. Some empty places were left for undiscovered elements. Limitations No fix position for hydrogen No place for isotopes No regular trend in atomic mass Co was placed before Ni
Mendeleev arranged the element according of their increasing atomic mass and similar chemical and physical properties. He empty place in his perodic table because all the element doesn't discovered at that time. So, he gave same empty place in his perodic table. Only 63 element discovered at that time. The limitations of Mendeleev. .............................................................................. (1)he doesn't give right place for hydrogen. (2)he doesn't give any place from isotopes. (3)he placed coblat( Co) before Nikihil(Ni).the cobalt is more mass then nikihil(Ni).this is not correct according of their increasing atomic mass.
