Let,A(4,-6) ,B(0,y) and C(-7,-4). AB=X1=4,Y1=-6 ,BC=X1=0,Y1=Y X2=0,Y2=y , X2=-7,Y2=-4 AB=BC (0-4) ² +(Y-6)²=(-7-0)²+(-4-Y)² 16+Y²+36+2×Y×6=49 +16+y²-2×-4×-y 16+y²+36+12y=49+16+y²+8y 52+y²+12y=55+ý²-8y
