Auxin helps in the development of tendril around any support. Auxins are produced in the apices or terminal end of a stem or roots. The hormone of plant Auxins helps in the growth of plants by elongating the cells of plant.
When the thread like structure called the tendril comes in touch with any kind of support, auxin begins stimulating the cells present on the alternate region to grow very fast. And due to this, the tendril coils around the support.
