Allotropes are the substances which are chemically similar but physically different. For example :- Allotropes of carbon are Diamond and Graphite.

The Allotropes are different forms of an element having different physical properties but the same chemical properties.For example ,the Allotropes of Carbon-that is Graphite and Diamond are allotropes of Carbon.
