This is because of the following reasons: 1.Alloys have melting point 2.Alloys doesnot get under oxidation easily 3.Alloys have high resistivity characteristics due to which they convert large amount of electrical energy into heat energy

Because it has high melting point and it doesn't undergo oxidation even at a high temperature.. .

Alloys are used instead of the pure metals in the electrical heating devices because they have the less electrical conductivity with the less melting point.

The Alloys does not have any single melting point instead of that they have numerous melting point.

So that’s why the alloys are used in the electrical appliances.
