Since the point C is midpoint of AB , Ratio=1:1 So, applying the section formula x =x1+x2/2 1=2a-2/2. a=2 Same case with y y=y1+y2/2 2a+1 = 4-3b / 2 Put value of a solved above 2(2)+1=4-3b/2 10-4 = -3b b= -2
