x+y=14 x-y=4 y will cancel due to (+,-) sin Then, 2x=18 x=9 We put in the any equation 9+y=14 y=5 (x,y)=(9,5) respectively

X+y=14.....eq(1) X-y=4.........eq(2) By adding both equation we get 2x=18 X=18/2 X=9 Putting the value of x in e(1) 9+y=14 Y=14-9 Y=5
