The uses of forest are
1)forests helps us to get sufficient rainfall during rainy season

2)it gives the food and shelters to wild life and tribal people

3)they help in purifying the environment by absorbing harmful gases like carbon dioxide

4)we get many types of medicinal plants in forest and hence we can cure many diseases using those medicinal herbs

5)forests also helps in keeping the groundwater and also reduces the soil erosion

6)we can get wood for fire , furniture etc

7)we get different varieties of fruits in forest and we can consume them

8)forests prevent the possibilities of global warming

9)they help in maintaining the earths temperature

10)forests also helps in the formation of winds etc
