The answer is 15. Solution: 1st term of A.P(A) =18 4th term A.P = -3 Therefore, -3 = A+(n-1)d -3 = 18+(4-1)d -3-18 = 3d -21 = 3d d= -7. So , a= 18 - 7 a = 11. b = 11 - 7 b = 4. Therefore, a + b = 11 + 4 = 15
