The main advantage of it is the production of many plants that are clones of each other. It is useful in producing disease free plants .

Micropropagation is the practice of rapidly multiplying stock plant material to produce many progeny plants , using modern plant tissue culture methods. Ye sahi ans h naa Mr. Arjun ?

It is also known as tissue culture. In plant tissue culture new plants are grown by using living tissues. In this method, small pieces are cut from the plant and then transferred to an artificial nutrient medium where they divide rapidly. This is then transferred to fresh medium containing hormone to grow and differentiate. Advantage<\B> 1.It is possible to produce large no. of plants from single parent. 2. Rapid production of ornamental plants is possible.
