First We Find Slope of Eq. 3x-y+5=0 Y=3x+5 M1=3 For Perpendicular, M1.M2=-1 M2=-1/3, So, Eq. of line..... (Y-Y1)=M2 (X-X2) (Y-(-4))=-1/3 (X-(-2)) 3Y+12=-X-2 X+3Y+14=0... this is req. Eq.
