Sec theta +tan theta =x [given]. [1].|| Sec²theta -- tan² theta = 1. ||. (Sec-tan)(sec +tan)=1.||. (Sec-tan)=1/x [using 1]. Adding both eq. ||. Sec=x²+1/x. || So, cos theta =x/x²+1. ||. Sin theta =√1-cos²theta ||. Sin = √1-x/x²+1. ||™ Sin =x²-1/x²+1.
