The treaty was convened by 4 European nations that had defeated Napoleon. The treaty aimed at generating a long-term peace plan for Europe.

The "Treaty of Vienna" was convened to establish a power balance in Europe. The goal of establishing this balance of power was to blow away the imperialism in Europe. This treaty also wanted to establish peace among the great powers of the world.
