  • 1 answers

Yogita Ingle 6 years ago

When the value of exports exceeds the value of imports, it is known as trade surplus. Food grains and raw materials were exported from India to Britain and the latter exported manufactured goods to India. The value of British exports to India was much higher than the imports. Thus, Great Britain had trade surplus with India.
