Tungsten is used in filament of electric bulb and lamps because tungsten is a metal which has high melting point 3,422 °C and we know that electricity causes heating , therefore due to high temperature the tungsten does not melt .

Aadya Singh ? 6 years, 3 months ago

Because the melting point and resistivity of tungsten are very high. They don't burn easily at a high temperature.
