◆Jallianwala Bagh is in Amritsar. ◆Jallianwala Bagh Massacre: On 13th april 1919, large crowd gathered in Jallianwala Bagh. Some of them had come to protest against the government's new repressive measures and others had come to attend Baisakhi fair. General Dyer entered the area, blocked the exit points and opened fire on the crowd, killing hundreds to create a feeling of terror.
