Some people did not welcome printed books for the following reasons:
1.Many were of opinion that printed books and printed circulation of words would have negative impact on minds of people.
2. they were feared that there was no control on what was printed and read.
3.they even thought irreligious thoughts might gain importance in the minds of people.
4. They even feared that valuable resources like literature would be destroyed.
5. The new print media was criticized by monarchs, higher authorities of respective religious groups and artists etc.
