Due to high stability of free electron in phenol than methanol

Because in phenol after removing its H+ ion from OH gets highly stablised due to resonance which is absent in methanol That's phenol is more eager to give its H+ ion , so more acidic. ?

phenols are stronger acids than alcohols becoz the phenoxide ionic left after the release of a Proton is stabilised by resonance but the alkoxide ion is not.
