1) As per the civil code of 1804 , all privileges based on birth were abolished. It established equality before the law and secure the right to property. 2) Simplification of administrative division in the Dutch Republic,Switzerland, Italy and Germany. 3) Abolishment of fedual system and freedom of peasants from serfdom and manorial dues. 4) Removal of guild restrictions in towns. 5) Improvement in the transport and communication system. 6) Introduction of uniform laws, standardised weight and measures, and a common national currency to facilate the movement and exchange of goods and capital from one region to another.

Civil was implemented in 1804. It was also known as naploean code.
