Coorg is the smallest district of Karnataka.it is popular for coffee. One story say about that,one part of Alexander's army come and setteled here. There religion rites, festivals, tradition, were differ from indian. They were always ready to faced and fight there enemies.Only coorgi have right to take firegun without license.the theory of Arab origin draws support from the long,black coat with an embroidered waist-belt worn by the Kodavus.Known as Kuppia,it resembles the kuffia worn by the Arabs and Kurds. the river,kaveri, obtains its water from the hills and forests of Coorg Mahaseer , a large freshwater fish. the main sports were river rafting, canoeing, rappelling,rock climbing and mountain biking. The climb to Brahmagiri hills brings u into heaven landscape of Coorg .
