Valli depressed all her desire .The money sje get to buy peppermints toys balloons candy and she also not enjoy the village fair she has the lot pf desire to buy things and merry go round but she saved the moneu for the trip

Valli saved up money for her first journey by resisting the temptation to buy peppermints, toys,balloons,etc. It was difficult for her .She suppressed her desire to enjoy a Merry-go-round at the village fair.
