    The Raikas are a group of pastoralists hailing from south Rajasthan. They have their settlements in the pastures and reared and herded cattle.
    They are different from the Maru as :-
    Maru is another group of Raikas which have their settlements in the deserts and reared and herded camels, sheep and goats.
