    Given Pr=4cm RQ=5cm To find :Area of shaded region Proof:we know that Inner radius =Ab+Bc-Ac —————— 2 By pythagoares therom Hyp sq= sum of two squares RQsq=RPsq+PQsq 5sq=4sq =3 therefore We know that Inner radius = Rp+pQ-rq 4+3-5=2 The inner radius = 1 cm Ar.of shaded region= Ar.of sq-Ar.of circle = 1/2×3×4-πR² = 6-22\7×1 =6-3.14 =3.8 Ar.of shaded region= 3.8
