By B.P.T , we know that, AD/DB = AE/EC => 12.4/6.2 = 2x/(6x-2) => 124/62 = 2x/(6x-2) => 2 = 2x/(6x-2) => 12x-4 = 2x => 12x-2x = 4 => 10x = 4 => x = 4/10 => x = 0.4
