The disadvantages of roadways: (1) water could not reach to the ground. (2)for making roads trees are also being cut. (3)it kills the microorganism of that place where it is constructed .

The road network in India is inadequate. About half of the roads are unmetalled and this limits their usage during the rainy season. The national highways are also inadequate. The roadways are highly congested in cities and most of the bridges and culverts are old and narrow which leads to accidents. And they are also not fit for smooth running of vehicles.
