The challanges faced by cotton industries are as follows:- • Power supply remains erractic thereby affecting its production. • There is lower output of labour as the workers are not skilled in their jobs. • There is a stiff competition with the synthetic fibre industries • Machinery needs to be upgraded particularly in weaving and processing sectors.
