1.There is a strong network of pipeline in india it is usef for transport of oil gas and for other various things 2.From pipelines the solid materials can be transport by converting them into slurry(thick liquid)3.In this system of transport there is no problem of delay and late delivery of materials 4.It also can be use transport at difficult Terrain5.Initial it's setup cost is high but it is cheapest mode of transportation

1) They are used for transportation of curse oil, petroleum, products and natural gas. 2) Solids can be transported through pipeline by converting them into slurry. 3) There are no delay unlike roadway and railway.
