Animals like the nasty chameleon, or seals, dolphines Or any form of uncommon insect could be tamed to be a pet although being unconventional. Moreover, in the story , Mijbil the otter, Mij is uncommon in London rather than jts actual native place called Iraq, therefore any pet which is not available in a particular place and unknown to people could work the dead of being nasty and unconventional.
