    Eddy current are the current induced in the bulk(heavy) pieces of conductor when the magnetic flux linked with the conductor changes.

    when current passes through the bulk of any conductor instead of their surface then the current induce in such a way so that it produces the loop inside the bulb of conductor this loop produces heat and such a loop are called Eddy current
