x+y=2 ......... (i)
-x+y=5 ............ (ii)
Adding (i) and (ii)
x + y -x + y = 2 + 5
2y = 7
y = 7/2
put y= 7/2 in (i), we get
x + 7/2 = 2
x = 2 - 7/2
x = -3/2
