Following is the impact of the caste system on the democracy of India:
1. Expression of caste disparities in government gives many underprivileged societies the scope to demand a share of power. In this way, caste, politics has encouraged the OBCs and Dalit castes to people to achieve reliable access to decision-making.
2. Several political and non-political institutions have been obliging and arousing to put an end to prejudice against a particular caste.
3. Exclusive consideration can also lead to adverse consequences as well. It can divert concentration from other pushing matters such as development, poverty and corruption. In some instances, it commences to violence.
