In formal sector 1) The Formal sector covers those enterprises or places of work where the terms of employment are regular therefore, people have assured work. 2) They are registered by the government and have to follow it's rules and regulations. In Informal Sector 1) The informal sector is characterised by small and scattered units which are largely outside the control of the government. 2) There are rules and regulations but these are not followed.
