As we know that Hari singh was a thief . He was living with Anil because Anil was teaching him to read and write . He make little money by taking some money that was given by Anil to Hari Singh for buying vegetables or anything . He take little money with himself . This is the way , Hari Singh made little money for himself

Hari Singh make little money for himself by writing magazines or any other types of stories. We can say this because his life style was simple and he used to spend according to his pocket at all time. As he was a writer he struggles for his income sometimes his struggle gave him a lot of income while at other time he used to worried about the next payment.
