By dividing quadrilateral in 2 parts by joining daigonal from A to c , so it becomes 2 triangles 1. Triangle ABC 2. Triangle ACD Now , placing the point given in question Finally put the formula area of triangle Which is , ½ x1(y2-y3)+x2(y3-y1)+x3(y1-y3) So we get Area of triangle 1st is 2 cm Area of triangle 2nd is 38 cm Finally, Adding both the triangle area 2+38=40 cm Solved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
