3cotA=4 CotA=4/3 Cot A=adjacent/opposite Therefore, In a ∆ABC, IF AB is perpendicular and AC is hypotenuse and BC is base then, Adjacent= 4 and opposite = 3 Then you can find the value of the hypoteneuse by Pythagoras theorem. (AC)Sq.= (BC)Sq. + (AB)Sq. = (3)Sq. + (4)Sq. = 9 + 16 (AC)Sq = 25 Removing the Sq. We get, AC=√25 AC=5 Hope it helps you. However it seems like the question was incomplete. I
