*CONVENTIONAL RESOURCES: - I. The sources of energy which have been in use for a long time and are being exploited. II. They are exhaustible resources and cannot be renewed easily. III. They release pollutants. IV. They are very costly to be maintained, stored and transmitted as they are carried over long distances.Example: Coal, Minerals, Fossils etc. *NON CONVENTIONAL RESOURCES: - I. These are renewable resources which are developing. II. They are inexhaustible and are replenished with time III. They are pollution free. IV. Generally inexpensive due to local use and easy maintenance.Example: Wind energy, Solar Energy, Water etc.
