Anne used to pin down her feelings, emotions and all that she wanted to speak off in her diary. Her diary was her constant partner which helped her in reflecting upon herself and analyze herself. She had written about all the problems which she and the people around her faced while living in the Annex. She was able to pour down her emotional anxieties and feelings without being judged in the diary. Also, unlike the elders, the diary didn't advise her unnecessarily.
