It had a severe impact on India - (i) - During 1929-1937 , exports and imports of India fell down. (ii) - Price in India plunged, wheat prices reduced by 50℅ . (iii) - Colonial government reduced to decrease the revenue . This increased the burden of farmers. (iv)- Peasant's indeptness increased. They used their savings, mortgaged lands and sold their jewellery and metals to meet their expenses.
