Adsorption - the accumulation of molecular species at the surface rather than in a bulk is termed as adsorption. Absorption the phenomenon of absorbing the substance present on the surface is called absorption.

Observation is a process of movement of a molecules from higher concentration to lower concentration in which the concentration of molecules is same in bulk as well as on the surface where is adsorption is a process in which there is inflow of molecules from low concentration to high concentration in which the concentration of the molecules is different on the surface and in bulk
