    Conservation of resources is necessary because of following reasons: 1. Resouces are vital for any developmental activity but irrational consumption and overutilisation of resources may lead to socio-economic and environmental problems . To overcome these problems , resource conservation at various level is important. 2.If resources are not conserved at this point of time, our future generations will be left with no resources at all. So it is very important to think for conservation of resources .

    Resources are the one of the most important need of life , to grow and for economic development too. Resources are the basic requirement for economic development. Each and every sector of economy needs resources for its development. Due to industrislisation, modernisation and urbanisation, the consumption of energy and resources in all forms has been steadily rising all over the country.
