Given, ABCD is a square X and Y points on side BC and AD and AY=BX We have to prove angle XAY= angle YBX Proof :In triangle ABY and triangle BAY AY=BX (given) angle BAY=angle ABX=90° AB=AB Thus, By SAS congruency triangle ABY congruent to triangle ABX Thus, By C.P.C.T Angle BAX=angle ABY Now, angle XAY=90°-angle BAX, and angle YBX=90°-angle ABY= 90°- angle BAX Hence ,we can say that angle XAY=angle YBX Prooved.
