It objectives is to build strong framework for all sports played in our country and establish India as great sporting nation. Keeping the above points in view the "Khalo India Programme " has been introduced to revive the sports culture in India. The programme was launched during 2017-18 by ministry of sports and youth affairs. To achieve the above objectives for following components- 1) Play field development 2) Community coaching development 3) State level Khalo India centres 4) Annual sports competition 5) Talent search and development 6) Support to various level sports academic 7) Physical fitness of school going children 8) Sports for women
