Explanation:
Rivers originating from the mountains, in their first stage have tremendous speed and erode the landscape deeply. Due its speed it carries big boulders and rocks easily after breaking them down. Mountains have an inclined plain which allows the smooth movement of anything. So rivers can swiftly go downwards along the slopes of mountains.
