Ibn batuta belonged to Morocco,Tangier.His family was educated and like them,He got scholastic education.but he believed that the real knowledge may receive by travelling rather than books,and also he loved traveling....Before coming in india,he had gone/travelled many places like Syria,Iran,omen,Yemen etc....He wrote a book called Rihal,in it,a rich history of culture or social activities are found of subcontinent in 14th century.
