Height of object(ho)= 2cm

Focal length(f) = —10cm(sign convention for concave mirror)

Object distance(u) = —15cm(sign convention for concave mirror)

Using Mirror formula,

{tex}{1\over v}+{1\over u}={1\over f}{/tex}

{tex}{1\over v} —{1\over15}={1\over—10}{/tex}

{tex}{1\over v}={1\over 15}—{1\over 10}{/tex}

{tex}{1\over v}={—1\over30}{/tex}

v=—30cm

{tex}{—v\over u}={hi\over ho}{/tex}( where hi = height of image and ho = height of object)

{tex}{30\over —15}={hi\over 2}{/tex}

{tex}{—2}={hi\over2}{/tex}

hi = —4 cm

The nature of image is real and inverted
