a. In this era of globalisation where we witness increased competition, integration of economies , wider consumer choices, it is imperative to ensure that our industries are at par with international standards.
b. Thus it is important to enhance the efficiency and productivity per worker.
c. It is equally important to provide necessary skills and training to our workforce from time to time.
d. We must upgrade our machinery and do away with obsolete outdated machinery and must use the latest advanced technology.
e. Further, it is important to move beyond self sufficiency and must target international consumers.
f. We must incorporate sustainable method of production.
