In case of lyophilic, it is solvent attracting,viscosity is higher than dispersion medium,surface tension is lower than dispersion medium, it is more stable and reversible process and also more solvated. In case of lyophobic, it is solvent repelling, viscosity is same as dispersion medium, surface tension is same as dispersion medium, it is less stable and irreversible process and also less solvated.
