Due to small size & interelectronic repulsions, bond lenth increses

Because in flourine two flourine atoms there is very small bond length due to its smaller size so two flourine atons are very close to each other and there is greater repulsion between non bonding electrons which makes the F2 bond very weak so there is lower bond dissociation enthalpy .
