√(2-10)^2+(-3-y)^2 = 10 Squaring both sides,we get, (2-10)^2+(-3-y)^2 = 100 64+9+y^2+6y=100 y^2+6y=100-64-9 y^2+6y=27 y^2+6y-27=0 y^2+9y-3y-27=0 y(y+9)-3(y+9)=0 (y-3)(y+9)=0 Thus, y = 3 or -9. Ans
